A prophylaxis unit that combines an ultrasonic scaler and an air polisher in one console on a mobile cart, for removing calculus, biofilm and stain. The ultrasonic side runs the NEWTRON Slim B.LED handpiece with more than 70 tips for prophylaxis, periodontal therapy, implant maintenance and endodontics; the polishing side runs the SILKY Pen with four nozzles, above and below the gum line. The console recognizes which handpiece is lifted and switches to the matching mode, and ColorDrive color coding simplifies power selection — fewer adjustments between treatment steps. The manufacturer states that the tightly controlled vibration amplitude removes calculus while preserving enamel, gingiva and implant surfaces. Water heated to 37°C on the polishing side is there for patient comfort, and the anti-clogging design keeps powder flow consistent.
