M3.RT (Retreatment)
Bondent
A set of three rotary files for root canal retreatment: they remove the old gutta-percha and filling materials from the canal in stages, before reshaping. When a previous root canal treatment has not succeeded, the canal must first be cleared. The files work in sequence, each reaching deeper than the one before, and according to the manufacturer the gutta-percha is collected on the file instead of being pushed toward the root end — leaving the canal ready for the next steps.
Key features
- Staged removal of the filling — three files, each reaching deeper
- Gutta-percha is held on the flutes — less tendency to push material toward the apex, per the manufacturer
- Efficient cutting tip — penetrates the existing filling
- Removal and preparation in one motion — the canal is ready for reshaping
- One setting for the whole sequence: 350 rpm and 2 Ncm
