Magnification changes what counts as possible in restorative work: a margin that looks smooth to the eye reads as ragged under magnification, and a crack that was hidden becomes plain. OMS2380A treatment microscope with TrueTone LED illumination, which carries true tissue color — a difference that matters when judging gingival inflammation or matching a restoration shade. Lamp life exceeds 20,000 hours, so replacing a bulb is not part of clinic routine. The binocular head inclines on adjustment, and the unit comes in four mounting options: mobile base, wall, ceiling or fixed floor — so it fits a room that is already built. OMS2350A treatment microscope with six magnification steps — 0.33 to 3 — selected on a single dial without interrupting the procedure. A working distance of 190 to 300 mm covers both close work on a single tooth and a wide view of the arch, and 60,000 lux of LED reaches the canal depth where an ordinary unit light stops helping. The binocular head inclines through 0 to 180 degrees with interpupillary adjustment, so the clinician fits the instrument to their posture rather than the reverse. Fine focus over 12 mm, 250 mm final objective. Installed, calibrated and serviced by JK Dent.
