Eighteeth
The E1.3 version of the NanoPix line — we match size and version to how the practice works and to who is being imaged: adults, children, or focused endodontic work. An intraoral sensor from Eighteeth’s NanoPix line, for digital radiography in place of film. The manufacturer states a 4.4 mm body, an image in 3 seconds, resolution up to 25 lp/mm, automatic exposure detection (AED) and an APS CMOS sensor with a CsI layer. The cable is tested to more than 70,000 bends and the sensor is rated for more than 50,000 exposures. The E1.3 is one version in the line; we match size and version to how the practice works.

FinScan F350The FinScan F350 is a cone-beam CT unit (CBCT) — not a lab scanner. It images at three fields of view, from a narrow one centered on a single tooth to a wide one covering both arches, producing a 3D volume for implant planning, endodontic diagnosis and bone assessment. A portable X-ray unit from Eighteeth’s HyperLight line. The manufacturer states a 0.4 mm focal spot, a weight of 1.8 kg for one-hand operation, a built-in double lead shield, a backscatter shield and a lock that prevents unintended exposure. This is the M version of the line. We match the version to imaging volume and to how it will be used — carried between rooms or kept at one station.
