HyperLight
Eighteeth
A portable intraoral X-ray unit: a handheld source for chairside radiographs with a digital sensor, phosphor plate or film — no X-ray room needed. The base model of the HyperLight line runs at 65 kV and 2.5 mA with a 0.4 mm focal spot, which reduces penumbra for a sharper image. At 1.8 kg it is operated with one hand and moves between rooms or to a patient who is hard to move. A smart angulation system shows the tube angle on screen, preset exposure times by patient size and tooth shorten setup, and a built-in double lead shield and an exposure lock protect the team. Use is subject to licensing and radiation-safety rules.
