Blade Handle
A flat scalpel handle that takes interchangeable disposable blades, used for incisions in oral surgery, implant surgery and gum surgery. The blade slides onto the fitting at the tip and is replaced for every procedure, while the handle stays in the hand — so its shape governs control of the incision. The handle is held like a pen, and the ribbed grip area gives the fingers a defined place to hold. Blades are mounted and removed with a needle holder or hemostat, not with the fingers.
