Manual Crown and Bridge Remover
Crown Removal
A manual slide-hammer crown and bridge remover, for releasing cemented crowns, bridges and provisional restorations. The tip engages under the restoration margin, the shaft is aligned with the path of removal, and the weight is slid back until it strikes the stop — a short tap in the direction of removal. A series of small taps breaks down the cement layer gradually, instead of forced levering that loads the tooth and the restoration. The tips screw on and are changed to suit the restoration and the access to it.
