Dental Condenser
A double-ended condenser for packing amalgam and restorative material into the prepared cavity, with round faces in two sizes — one at each end. The small end reaches line angles, proximal boxes and margins, while the larger end condenses the bulk of the restoration. Overlapping strokes adapt the material to the walls and margins and reduce voids within it. The angled neck directs force along the condensing axis even in posterior teeth.
Key features
- Two ends in two sizes — corners and margins, and the bulk of the restoration
- Round condensing faces — material adapted to walls and margins
- Overlapping strokes — fewer voids in the restoration
- Angled shanks — force along the condensing axis, even on posterior teeth
