A measuring block for endodontic files, used to set the file stopper quickly to the required working length. Instead of looking for a ruler and counting marks at every file change, the dentist inserts the file into the matching hole and sets the stopper. Every file in the sequence gets exactly the same length, and the time saved at each change adds up over the treatment. The block withstands the autoclave.
