The material needs no sintering — milling and finishing only — so a restoration can be completed in one visit. Available in monolayer and multilayer shades.
PMMA DiscsPMMA discs for milling in CAD/CAM systems, for temporary crowns and bridges and for denture bases. Discs come in 98 mm and 95 mm diameters and in Sirona and AG formats, in thicknesses of 10–40 mm, in shades following the VITA16 key and in pink and clear. The manufacturer states a flexural strength of 110–140 MPa and a modulus of elasticity of 2500 MPa. Monolayer, multilayer, Impak and flexible versions are available. Supplied to the laboratory by JK Dent.
Wax DiscsWax discs for milling in CAD/CAM systems: for try-ins, for checking fit, and for lost-wax casting work. The wax burns out with no meaningful residue, so the casting takes the shape of the pattern. They are also useful for testing a milling path before running an expensive material.
