PEEK (polyether ether ketone) discs for CAD/CAM milling of non-metal frameworks — a light, strong engineering polymer. Typical uses are partial denture frameworks, implant superstructures and crown and bridge frameworks that are veneered afterward. According to the manufacturer the material is lightweight, tough, corrosion-resistant and easy to clean, with no metallic tint to show through the veneer. It is processed by milling alone, with no sintering.
