Lithium Disilicate Discs

Lithium disilicate glass-ceramic discs for milling on open CAD/CAM systems, for esthetic restorations — crowns, veneers and inlays/onlays. The disc format lets the lab nest several restorations in one disc on an open milling machine, instead of a separate block for each unit. As with CAD lithium disilicate in general, milling is done before crystallization, and the restoration reaches its final shade and strength in a crystallization firing in the furnace — according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
