Lithium disilicate glass-ceramic blocks for CAD/CAM milling that need no sintering, for single restorations the patient needs quickly. The block is supplied tooth-colored, and according to the manufacturer it is designated for immediate restorations. With no crystallization firing, the work after milling comes down to finishing and polishing — shortening the time from scan to seating, both chairside and in the lab. Typical indications are crowns, inlays/onlays and veneers.
