ZirArt 4D Multilayer Zirconia Discs
Lodden
Multilayer zirconia discs for CAD/CAM milling, with many layers that grade in shade, translucency and strength for monolithic anterior and posterior work. The gradient is built into the disc, so a monolithic crown leaves the furnace with a more opaque, stronger neck area and a translucent incisal edge — and according to the manufacturer extensive staining is not needed. Several models, shades and thicknesses let the lab match the disc to the case, from veneers and inlays to bridges.
Key features
- 8 graded layers — shade, translucency and strength change together from cervical to incisal
- Translucency of 43–57% — a translucent incisal edge over a more opaque cervical, like a natural tooth
- Flexural strength up to 1300 MPa at the cervical — the highest strength where it is needed
- Up to 23 shades: VITA16, BL1–BL4 and OM1–OM3
- Four models made from Sinocera and Tosoh powders — chosen by case
- Manufacturer indications run from veneers and inlays to long-span bridges, full arches and implant work
