Needle Holder
A classic ring-handled needle holder with a ratchet lock, for suturing and knot tying in oral surgery, implant surgery and gum surgery. The thumb and ring finger go through the rings and the index finger rests on the shank, so the hand guides the jaws much like scissors. The ratchet between the rings locks the needle in several steps and releases with a slight shift of the rings. Serrated jaws limit needle turning and bending as it passes through tissue, and the long shanks reach the back of the mouth.
