A cordless LED headlight for loupes: the battery sits on the light body itself, so no cable runs from the loupes to a belt pack. With no cable, nothing snags on the chair or tugs the loupes during movement around the patient, and the light sits on the upper edge of the frame to ease pressure on the nose bridge. Illuminance reaches 35,000 lux, and at a 450 mm working distance the 124 mm spot lights the whole arch. Two rechargeable batteries come in the box, and one charges in 1.4 hours — so a spare can be swapped in without stopping work.
