A dynamic navigation system for dental implant surgery that guides the drill in real time against the implant plan made on the CT scan. During surgery an optical camera follows the handpiece tip, and the screen shows the drilling position, angle and depth against the plan in 3D. Unlike a static surgical guide, no printed guide is needed before surgery, and the trajectory can be monitored and corrected as the work proceeds. Suited to a dentist who places implants and wants to carry out the digital plan accurately.
