A desktop single-wavelength diode laser for soft-tissue surgery, gum treatment and root canal disinfection — cutting and coagulating in the same pass. Power is adjustable, continuous or pulsed, through a thin optical fiber that reaches into the gum pocket and the canal. Ready templates for indications store the settings, a button on the handpiece changes power mid-procedure, and the handpiece detaches for autoclave sterilization. The unit runs on a built-in battery with no cable.
