A lab scanning paste that creates an even matte surface on glossy or transparent materials, so the optical scanner can capture them accurately for CAD/CAM design. Polished metal, wax and clear printed restorations reflect light and leave holes and noise in the scan file. A thin coat of the paste, applied with a brush, cuts down the glare. According to the manufacturer it allows controlled application with less waste than a scanning spray, and it wipes away easily after the scan.
