Casting Investment Ring
Lodden
An investment ring system for the lost-wax technique: a ring, a base with sprue former and a top that shape the investment around the wax pattern for casting or ceramic pressing. The wax pattern is attached to the base, the ring locks onto it and the investment is poured in. According to the manufacturer the ring allows uniform expansion of the investment in all directions, and predictable expansion is what decides the fit of the cast restoration. The parts clean easily and are used again and again.
Key features
- Uniform investment expansion — a predictable casting fit
- Interlocking tapered ring-and-base joint — no separation during handling
- Base with sprue former — a fixed position for the wax pattern
- Cleans easily and is reused — not used up every cycle
- Two sizes — from single units to multi-unit work
