iLaser II
Soga
A pen-style 980 nm diode laser for soft-tissue surgery, periodontal treatment and root canal disinfection — with no desktop unit and no cable. The battery, OLED display and controls sit in the pen itself, which weighs 106 g, so the laser moves between rooms with no console or foot pedal. Power adjusts from 0.5 W — up to 3 W continuous and 5 W peak in pulse mode — and the manufacturer states that closed-loop (PID) control keeps it stable. Fiber tips of 200 and 400 µm, 4–20 mm long, cover surgery, the periodontal pocket and the canal. Class IV laser: for trained staff, with protective eyewear for staff and patient.
