An 18-liter Class B benchtop steam autoclave for sterilizing solid and hollow instruments, wrapped and unwrapped, and porous materials. In the Class B programs, three pre-vacuum pulses remove air from the chamber and from lumens before steam enters, and each cycle ends with vacuum drying. Flexible chamber heating elements and Heraeus sensors keep the temperature uniform, and the manufacturer states that the high-vacuum drying system improves dryness by up to 33%. The W-Light on the door changes color with the unit’s status — flashing purple while running, green when done, red on an alarm — so cycle status is visible from a distance. Vacuum, B&D and Helix tests verify performance, and a built-in printer and USB port record every cycle.
