CuringPen
Eighteeth
A pen-style LED curing light with four LEDs — three blue and one violet — for curing restorative materials and violet-light caries detection. The emission spectrum has two peaks — 470 nm from the blue LEDs and 410 nm from the violet LED — within 385–515 nm. Three intensities — 1000, 1500 and 2300 mW/cm² — plus Ramp and Pulse modes match the exposure to the material and case, and a head that rotates 360° eases access to every area of the mouth. The manufacturer states that a control chip keeps light output consistent and that a full charge delivers more than 1200 exposures of 3 seconds at 2300 mW/cm².
