E-FLOW
Eighteeth
A computer-controlled local anesthetic delivery system (CCLAD) that injects at a steady, controlled rate and displays pressure and remaining volume. Four injection modes — normal, fast, PDL and dosage — run at 0.3 to 3.5 mL/min. In PDL mode the system measures injection pressure in real time, adjusts speed to tissue pressure and sounds a voice alert when pressure runs too high; the manufacturer states this makes injection more precise and reduces discomfort. Automatic aspiration, a 40 g handpiece and an autoclavable cartridge holder complete the setup, and a voice-guided training mode shortens the learning curve for staff.

Key features
- Four modes — normal, fast, PDL, dosage — at 0.3–3.5 mL/min, plus low-speed auto-injection in normal and dosage
- Real-time pressure monitoring in PDL mode, with a voice alert when pressure is high
- Automatic aspiration — to check needle position before injecting
- 4.3-inch touchscreen showing remaining volume, with voice alerts by cartridge level
- 40 g handpiece and an autoclavable cartridge holder — lower cross-contamination risk
- Smart pedal: a light or firm press switches injection speed
